Photographers are defined by what they look at. A photographer that spends a lot of time watching sports-people give their all is a “sports photographer,” while another may be a “still photographer” by spending solemn time with nature. The question comes, do they see the world differently? After all, isn’t that what they do? Look at the world in different ways?
The answer is yes, kind of. They see the world differently like a basketball player sees the world differently from a CEO, which both differ from the quiet neighbor living a lonely life. The point is that we all see the world differently. All photographers are, inherently, are people that know what they look at. Their art is defined by looking at the world and drawing conclusions: but how can they share these conclusions? Instead of trying to explain the solution, photographers help us look at some of the same things they do. They don’t offer a solution, or—expressly speaking—even a problem. But they spend their lives looking a different direction, showing us their point of view.
