For shutter speed, I struggled most of the time with trying to adjust the lighting, what I wanted to capture, and how to capture it. At the very beginning when we were first testing it out it was hard to figure out how everyone else was getting a well-captured picture with a blurry background while I was still getting a freeze-frame picture. It wasn’t until after I asked for help that it started to become clearer on how to properly get the image I needed. As I was testing it out and finding different it became more difficult due to the different lighting and the image I wanted to get. It was hard trying to get Fernanda in the frame while also trying to follow the object she was throwing up in the air. Along with having to figure out how to get the flags in the back to look blurry as everyone else was in a still motion. It was also a struggle trying to find people in motion in order to get a blurry background. At last, it was until I happened to find an admin on the golf cart and happened to take a picture that I liked and believed was a good example of a blurry background. I found that it is easier to get people in their natural environment or as they are to actually get the pictures are good examples for these assignments. Although posing could be good at times so I can get a general idea of what I want to image to look like or what I would want to alter to make the image better.
