Being my first assignment in the class I had a ton of fun experiencing the freedom of a camera and it’s controls even though it was just focused on one aspect. Since I was a little kid on a trip in Hawaii, I’ve really enjoyed the composition in photos so learning techniques revolving around motion blur and the manipulation of such has been extremely useful to me. Throughout my journey on campus I experienced the ups and downs of photography with a friend and through them I experienced their technological struggles as well. With the amount of times we had to “Miller it won’t” led to us gaining a far better understanding of the very niche aspects of a Nikon camera’s settings. After ironing out the kinks however, picture taking was smooth sailing and the upload process, while confusing at first, was completed and learned so I can definitely do it again for our next assignment.
