Shutter Priority Reflection

Olivia Gonzalez The Shutter priority work was very challenging but fun at the same time. The Shutter priority being our first assignment came with many twists and turns. I was very much still trying to figure out how to work the camera and find the camera that was going to be most suitable. Throughout all […]

Shutter Reflection: Jasmine Villareal

I took these 6 pictures, it took me about over a week. I wasn’t sure how to take the type of pictures I needed at first but I kept playing with the camera until I got what I wanted. My favorite pictures were the top 3 because those were easier to take and I think […]

Aperture Priority Reflection: Mady Paschall

A higher number of apertures actually creates a deep depth of field. With larger depth of field the subject is included in the background and the picture is […]

Aperture Priority Reflection-Brice Kingsbury

The Aperture Priority assignment was very enjoyable for me. I learned a lot about focal length and even lighting during the process of shooting each picture and I can confidently say that I understand aperture. Aperture Priority Reflection

I found this assignment to be fairly straightforward, and I actually really like the pictures I took using shallow depth of field and bokeh. I think these concepts are really cool and fun to work with, especially when you understand how to use them to get different effects. I didn’t even realize I got a […]

Shutter Priority Reflection

This assignment was hard for me in terms of memorizing and understanding how shutter speed works. I kept forgetting what speed the shutter needed to be at to make my subject blurry and the background blurry. I especially had a hard time trying to get the freeze-frame photos because I was trying to find the […]

Aperture Priority Reflection – Emily Dean

While working on my Aperture Priority assignment, I found it pretty easy to find inspiration and create feelings when it came to these photos. For example, this is a picture of my dog named Coal. He LOVES attention and can’t go a day without it. So when I took my camera out to take pictures, […]
