Technical Reflection:

I learned about leading lines, centering subjects, and portrait close ups. I used portrait close ups the most, on multiple occasions, and was able to produce some of my favorite photos. I made sure to use small aperture numbers in order to make sure that my subjects were shop and in focus.

Personal Reflection:

At the beginning of this course, I was honestly burnt-out and I felt as if I had lost my passion for photography. I was only taking photos in order to complete assignments, but while doing so I was able to find my passion for the hobby once again. I love taking photos, and I feel as if they’re a great way to express myself and my creativity. I am excited for the future and what new kinds of projects will be in store.

Creative Reflection:

The photo that I am the most proud of this year is Mothra. I think that it is a beautiful picture, and I’ve always loved moths since a young age, so I’m delighted that I was able to admire and capture one close up. I was able to capture this moth a way that I believe is but stunning, and I will hold onto my psychical copy of it forever. This year I was able to really find my photography style, and I hope to improve my skills and find more creative ways to express myself.
