Winogrand’s quote is stating that a person does not learn from teachers teaching, instead people learn from work they do and their critics on the work. I can agree with this because I’ve looked back at older work and saw what I did right and what needs improvement. Shown below are two pictures. One I took at the start of the year, with little to no knowledge on how to take a good picture and the other is one I took recently after learning the techniques to take a good picture.
