Mr. Miller running with one of the color guard flags

During my time shooting pictures and overall working on the Shutter Priority assignment, I found it kind of hard to do since I was just learning how to operate a camera. It wasn’t my first time picking up a camera but it was my first time actually taking pictures and learning the new foundations that go into photography. I appreciated this assignment because it was really an eye-opener for me on how much I have already learned and I’m just excited to see how my photos develop from here. Yes it was difficult, but I got some great pictures that represent shutter priority pretty clearly. It was nice to be surrounded by new photographers and some more advanced photographers as well. This assignment was helpful to learn as a whole and I liked learning how to have the confidence to know that my photos are great examples of whatever we had to capture in the photo. At first, It was hard to find inspiration for photos around campus (beside from Mr. Miller running with the flag) but I did end up finding things to take photos of that represent their own emotions to. I got many photos I liked and many photos I disliked and ended up deleting. The photos I put into my Pro Folio are the ones I’m most proud of and that demonstrate Shutter priority.
