I do however recall the lecture on the function of aperture and greatly appreciated the way in which that was taught. I learn best through lectures so a powerpoint presentation with examples and clear descriptions of what each function does and what each function is called was of great use to me in learning how to manipulate aperture in a photo. Then going out to shoot with a friend was enjoyable as always and the shots I acquired whilst out were able to be uploaded to my portfolio without trouble since the image optimizer was introduced to us during this time as well.

Shutter Reflection https://redwood.photography/2023/09/15/shutter-reflection/ https://redwood.photography/2023/09/15/shutter-reflection/#respond Fri, 15 Sep 2023 15:46:28 +0000 https://redwood.photography/?p=5834 Being my first assignment in the class I had a ton of fun experiencing the freedom of a camera and it’s controls even though it was just focused on one aspect. Since I was a little kid on a trip in Hawaii, I’ve really enjoyed the composition in photos so learning techniques revolving around motion blur and the manipulation of such has been extremely useful to me. Throughout my journey on campus I experienced the ups and downs of photography with a friend and through them I experienced their technological struggles as well. With the amount of times we had to “Miller it won’t” led to us gaining a far better understanding of the very niche aspects of a Nikon camera’s settings. After ironing out the kinks however, picture taking was smooth sailing and the upload process, while confusing at first, was completed and learned so I can definitely do it again for our next assignment.
