I had a vision in my head but it was challenging to layout. When we were laying out on Canva we initially had it on a doc and because of that, we couldn’t get anything to move around. After figuring out we had to change it, everything was a lot easier.

Critique – Reflection https://redwood.photography/2023/02/24/critique-reflection/ https://redwood.photography/2023/02/24/critique-reflection/#respond Fri, 24 Feb 2023 22:02:31 +0000 https://redwood.photography/?p=3627 Based on the quote from, Garry Winogrand, I would have to say that I agree with him. No matter how many times a teacher says do this in order to get to that. You won’t know how to do it on your own until you try it out. If my teacher said, take this sort of picture, I won’t know how to do it until I do it on my own. If I mess up, I just adjust from there because, again, you have to make your own modifications in order to grow. If someone is always doing it for you, you won’t grow. With this project, I now know that I have to focus more on what I’m trying to get a reflection of. Not just taking a picture in a puddle and hoping that I will get the tree that is hanging above it.

Critique – Lookup https://redwood.photography/2023/02/24/critique-lookup/ https://redwood.photography/2023/02/24/critique-lookup/#respond Fri, 24 Feb 2023 21:45:55 +0000 https://redwood.photography/?p=3624 The ability to move around is one of the most necessary things you need in order to take pictures. It allows you to be able to capture all kinds of perspectives, anywhere. If we weren’t able to move around everyone would just capture the same picture. Some limitation I faced was getting access. I tried to get directly under some objects, but they were blocked by gates. But, not having access also allowed me to get a different angle I was exactly intending for.
