I really like this assignment because it allowed me to take much better portraits of people and also helped me fix some problems I have found before learning this. I took me a while to get used to bigger number will give me a smaller hole but after saying it over and over in my head it is starting to click more and now I feel like I am definitely more comfortable with using that feature with my camera. this was definitely the biggest learning curve with learning how to use my camera. I have started to shoot on manual more and feel very comfortable with it. I really like photography class so far and Im exited to learn more.

In this assignment I learned how to freeze time by adjusting my shutter speed as well as get a blurry effect using the shutter speed setting. I learned about the meter inside the camera that takes a light sample and helps me adjust the shutter speed to get a properly exposed picture. I learned that when shooting somebody running I should have a higher shutter speed but to just shoot someones portraits I need to set my camera to a lower shutter speed. I feel like I learned the concept of shutter speed very well there was nothing that really confused me. I feel like I can comfortably use the Shutter speed setting without needing to ask for help I also feel like I can adjust my shutter speed according to what im seeing and trust my judgement using shutter speed.
