You have to make sure that everything is lined up evenly if you are going for that look. It is overall really fun because you are in charge of how you want it to look like. It’s really cool to have a vision of what you want it to look like and have it become real life. You have to make sure the colors at least compliment each other to make it appealing in the eye. Two things I found challenging while designing is finding colors that would go well with the pictures we took and what style we wanted for the picture.

Reflections Critique https://redwood.photography/2023/02/27/reflections-critique-3/ https://redwood.photography/2023/02/27/reflections-critique-3/#respond Mon, 27 Feb 2023 19:57:12 +0000 https://redwood.photography/?p=3758 The Quote from Gary Winogrand “You know, I really don’t think you learn from teachers. You learn from work. I think what you learn, really, is how to be – you have to be your own toughest critic, and you only learn that from work, from seeing work.” I think this quote really does have truth. You learn a lot more from hands on. You have to be your toughest critic because you know what best or what you want to achieve. When you work you get into situations that you will most likely have in real life unlike school which tries to keep you in a bubble. From my two pictures I feel like I could have gotten a better angel. I could have also done a couple more different angles to add more variety.

Up critique https://redwood.photography/2023/02/27/up-critique/ https://redwood.photography/2023/02/27/up-critique/#respond Mon, 27 Feb 2023 19:36:00 +0000 https://redwood.photography/?p=3738 I feel like feet are a valuable tool for photographers because it can change the perspective of the photo. For instance you can be taking a picture of a tree but you can walk farther away to get the sky in the picture or walk closer just to get a closer look at the tree. You can walk backwards with the camera facing up and get an up picture. Feet can take photographers places and without our feet we would be able to get the angles we want in our pictures.
